The Well of Wishing
Jane once said we have too much stuff
Too which I replied, too much is never enough
Alas it is true our house is overflowing,
With the bits needed for life and a dog who is easygoing,
So a gesture of currency would make for a pleasant gift
To give our home deposit a great and welcome lift.
So please feel free to anonymously donate
But if you don’t want to, we can accommodate
A wishing well is placed on the present table
Pop the envelope in if your willing and able
Make a wish and it may come true
And when we buy our home,
we will be thinking of you
Your presence at our Wedding will be the most special
gift of all to us, although there will be a gift list and a wishing well available for those who wish to share in our memory this way.
